I suppose I can volunteer as tribute.

I'll do my best to track and update as invites come in. You can either make a post in this thread or PM me. If you PM me I will not share your username with anyone. Either way, please use the following format:

    Official Site Name:
    Date Invitation Received:
Method of Invitation (Phone call, personal/mass email, snapchat):
Specialty Track or Site (e.g., for consortiums):
    Offered Interview Dates:
(In honor of last year) If & How you're staying sane
    :

You can post additional information as you like (rejections, etc.) but this is the basic info I will plan on tracking unless I hear otherwise. I'm going to reserve the next couple posts below.

    Good luck everyone!

Ah, time for the yearly masochistic gesture. Good luck managing this beast. It gets bigger and more neurotic every year.

THANK YOU so much for doing this!! You are a hero. One question - Is it possible to also track the interview dates that were offered? That info has been tracked in past years, and from what I've seen, it's been helpful (not that I've read all of the posts from the previous interview invite thread or anything )

I can do that. I added it to the standard format.

The one thing I'd rather not do is track rejections as that is just another huge list; maybe someone can create a separate thread for that.

Omg! I didn't think it would be this soon (especially when I submitted this application today) but,

Official Site Name: Southwest Behavioral and Health Services (Arizona)
    Date Invitation Received: 11/6/18
Method of Invitation (Phone call, personal/mass email, snapchat): personalized email
Specialty Track or Site (e.g., for consortiums): School and Community Based Counseling Services
Offered Interview Dates: 01/04/19 (01/07/19 for some AZ applicants)
If & How you're staying sane: I've been on a huge cooking kick lately! I made homemade French onion soup over the weekend and those caramelized onions came out beautifully.

Thanks for doing this! I was waiting for it to pop up on the official 2019-2020 thread and that has been pretty dead! I also love the continuation of "What you're doing to stay sane" - I had lots of laughs reading through some of those when I was trying to get an idea of my site's invitation days from last year. I know my life right now includes (a) neurotic cleaning, (b) red wine, (c) lots of puppy play time with my golden retriever

My dog has kept me sane through 4th year and this fall. The second I had enough flexibility in my schedule to go home for lunch I was like YES DOG NOW.

I've been aggressively snuggling my dog and basically started compulsively refreshing my email the second I submitted my applications (lololol neuroticism at its finest).

    ...is it February yet?

Remember to chill a little at the moment. There are a lot of sites like mine, which won't even look at apps or offer notifications until after Thanksgiving.

Two questions: 1. Do sites still notify via phone call? With all the spam calls we get now, I'm likely to not pick up!!!
    2. Do sites send rejection emails? Would def love a definitive answer if I received an interview or not! Not down with the false hope.
Anyone know the answer to these? Thanks all! Good luck!!!!

Sorry to hear it, but at least it’s out of the way early! Do you mind me asking if it was a mass email or personal to you? I haven’t heard a peep and am wondering if that might indicate my app is still in consideration..

No worries, saves me a trip I guess. It was definitely a mass email - they didn't even mention my name anywhere in there. If you haven't heard, I would think that's a good thing :)

That's sort of what I am wondering - if an invitation was sent out, should I be prepared for a rejection or is it possible to still be under consideration? Last year's thread suggested that most (if not all) are sent at once.

My thinking is that they might have a B list for any spots that open up if people decline or cancel? Or they just might send the invites out as they go. But that's just a guess.

Good call - those are certainly possibilities. I was over here believing that the action would occur by the end of next week, at the earliest, yet reviewing last year's thread immediately evoked hypervigilance. It has begun.

Ah, ok. That makes sense. I submitted all my applications by 11/1 but some don’t have deadlines until early-mid December. So I expect this interview/rejection notification process to last at least until late December.
