Anyone hear from Allina Health in Fridley, MN? They said today was their notification day but they weren’t clear as to if they would tell us if we got rejected or just ghost. Thanks in advance!

I had a long phone call with a friend who interned at the Sacramento VA and she had nothing but positive things to say about the site! Here are some bulletpoints:
  • They were accredited on their first try, which is apparently a big deal
  • Clinicians are younger at this site, but experts in the field
  • They really tailor the internship to what you want-- if you want certain cases or experiences, just speak out!
  • The PTSD team in particular is super strong and the clinicians there are the top experts in the field
  • There is the opportunity to partner with UC Davis psychiatry residents. I can't remember the specifics of this partnership, but she made it sound really cool
  • Apparently, the training director is also awesome and she liked the TD a lot
  • They're trying to get applicants with better experience in neuropsych for those who are interested in this rotation-- hence the neuropsych report requirement this year
Sorry if these are super generic notes. Over all, my friend had a great experience and recommended the site. I'm definitely applying as a result. Hope this helps a bit!

I think we will likely hear from the rest early next week. Based on the timing of the other emails, they’re probably off for the weekend at this point. But at least we’ve been given hope for the next hoop to jump through.

I've seen forensic and neuro for Central Regional but haven't seen any posts for the general adult track yet. Did anyone hear from them? This is a top choice for a friend and she is anxiously awaiting 😬 Or for people who applied to the other tracks, did it seem like the interview email wasn't track-specific?

I'm glad to hear that! I hear you on the sting part too. :/ This is an unusual year and I think this is a helpful way to look at it, especially since we can't see the various working parts (and know there is a whole lot more in the mix) in these particularly unprecedented times.

Bittersweet soundtrack/song stuck in my head amidst this process: This Time Tomorrow by The Kinks...A warning though: its as catchy as the rest of The Kinks stuff!

The email referred specifically to the track. But the email was general enough that they may have only needed to change that information.

I am in the same boat! I have no idea what to put for this. Since the email we received did not include this info, I was thinking of emailing them if no one knew what to put haha

Also I have a site that people heard from yesterday and today :/ does this mean it’s probably going to be a rejection?
 
Anyone actually get a rejection email from UVA? I believe I had an issue with my submitted app but wonder if I will receive an official response from them.
