I think we will likely hear from the rest early next week. Based on the timing of the other emails, they’re probably off for the weekend at this point. But at least we’ve been given hope for the next hoop to jump through.

I'm glad to hear that! I hear you on the sting part too. :/ This is an unusual year and I think this is a helpful way to look at it, especially since we can't see the various working parts (and know there is a whole lot more in the mix) in these particularly unprecedented times.

Bittersweet soundtrack/song stuck in my head amidst this process: This Time Tomorrow by The Kinks...A warning though: its as catchy as the rest of The Kinks stuff!

The email referred specifically to the track. But the email was general enough that they may have only needed to change that information.

They tend to come later. It might assuage your anxiety to look at past years threads and see when they have historically sent out their invites or find this years notification date in their APPIC profile so you have an idea of when they may send out stuff. I know it sucks to wait (I can barely sleep lol!) But this part of the process should be over soon. APPIC's suggested notification deadline is on the 15th which is less than two weeks away.

not necessarily! i got an invite to interview two days after others had received their invites
