I got this one, too, but for neuropsych. I literally cried. I started out with 8 rejections and 1 "we will still rank you but we're not interviewing you" and was feeling hopeless. Now I have 5 interviews including my top 3 sites. This has been such an emotional rollercoaster!

Rejection: Texas Woman's University via mass email on 12/9

Rejection: UTHSC Memphis (St. Jude) via mass email on 12/10

Waiting on the final 6 (I def see a huge time difference in notification from UCCs I applied to vs academic hospitals. Just now getting the UCCs in.)
 
Did Baylor/Texas Children's Hospital send out rejections yet? I know they did offers a while back and their APPIC notification deadline is 12/15, but I just wanted to get a feel for if they are sending rejections sooner or if I'll just have to wait for the confirmed rejection on 12/15. 🤔

Interview Format: One-hour Webex interview with 2 staff psychologists (including TD), but scheduling for 90-minute blocks to allow for tech issues. Assessment-writing test next week-- they will send testing data and we'll have 2 days to write a brief interpretation (free to use interpretive manuals/resources).

I did my practicum at Patton State hospital last year and I grew up 10 minutes from there so I am very familiar with the surrounding cities. I’d be happy to answer any questions. Feel free to message me.

I am attempting to be patient for BOP Butner, Nicoletti-Flater, Superior Court of DC, and Harris County as well... Hopefully we hear something soon!

I did my undergrad at UTD and was a program coordinator at a recovery center that was under the counseling center's umbrella. PM me if you have any questions about facilities/student population. A lot has changed in the SCC since I was there but I could definitely answer questions.

Your old Aunt Sue here, checking in before what is sure to be a long weekend! I hope y'all are making it and taking good care of yourselves, with lots of takeout and time outdoors to balance the email refreshing.

It was a hard week for your AuntSue. Thanks for declining me for an interview, McLean, but if you won't let me in the back door, I may have to come through the front! However, I must say that the well-wishes from my SDN nieces and nephews do make it all a little better. Folks can say what they will about *the blogs,* but celebrating your successes and watching your mutual support following rejections warms my big heart and bosom. If I had it my way, we'd all be going on internship together.
