From my understanding, the CVA and interview are all related to responding to correctional specific circumstances, like safety and security issues, and how you would handle unique situations. I think they’re looking to make sure we don’t over or under correct... but this is from my memory of a friend who interviewed last year! Could be wrong...

UC Davis counseling center
University of Florida counseling center

I know UC Davis said they would be sending invites out by the 12th which is a Saturday so I was hoping to hear today.

I’ve seen rejections and interviews posted from these sites but I haven’t heard from any of them. I’ve been checking my inbox and spam nonstop!! Is anyone else awaiting an interview or rejection?

- Ohio Psychology Internship (Heartland Behavioral Health)
- Naussa University Medical Center
- Hutchings Psychiatric Center

Should I interpret these as rejections? Or is there a possibility I could get an interview? 😩 Be honestttt, I can handle it lol.
 
So, still waiting on 5 sites but I figure I should start preparing for the interviews I do have. Any tips? I'm a little overwhelmed with so, so many potential questions and I'm not sure if others have developed strategies for how to prep most efficiently. Most of my interviews are in the same 2-week span (I know, common) but that adds to the anxiety. Any tips are welcomed! Thanks in advance!

Yes, but you need to call AAPIC directly or they’ll never refund it on their own.

I received a rejection from Hutchings this morning - went to my junk mail first tho.
I have received an offer for an interview with Ohio Psych Internship, but it's the for the forensic track, and I think you're referring to the inpatient track. I wouldn't immediately interpret as rejections! Fingers crossed for you!!

I'm also still waiting for Hutchings! Not sure if this means those who received invitations/rejections were from a different track (I applied to the 2 sex offender treatment tracks) or if maybe we are in a possible second round under consideration if some of the first rounders decide not to attend the interview? Since their deadline is next week, guess we'll have to wait a bit longer to find out 🤔
