Thank you for letting me know! I checked and I haven't received anything yet. But the fact that you received one indicates that they're working on them, so I'll just wait it out for a day or two. I was just worried it was sent out weeks ago and I missed it or something. Also, what was the email from yesterday about? I didn't receive one.

It was a heads up about using Webex, link to the morning overview, brief description of format of the day (overview in the morning, interviews in the afternoon). If you didn’t get yesterday’s I would email them and let them know that you’re aware something was sent yesterday but you didn’t receive it, and you want to be sure you receive your schedule. I hope you get something soon!

I've heard from all of my other sites, but not those four. Washington and Illinois list the 15th (so tomorrow) as their notice date. Tennessee lists theirs as the 11th. And I can't remember Michigan's. I've been keeping up regularly with the forum, but I may have missed someone saying something.

Sorry for posting again but has anyone heard from the Jefferson County Internship Consortium in Louisville KY? Their deadline to let applicants know was 12/11 - so last Friday - but I haven't heard anything or seen anyone post about it on here. 🤔

I received an interview at the University of Washington for the behavioral medicine track. Someone in my cohort has heard from them as well for an interview. I'm not sure if they have sent out any other emails though.

Unfortunately I already confirmed an interview at another site for this time. Is there any possibility of rescheduling..." and then reiterated my interest again. The reason I went with the specific reason rather than vague is I wanted it to be clear that it's a very serious conflict (one that they would also want someone to respect if the roles were reversed). The TD replied with understanding, but of course YMMV. Good luck!

*ETA: and the TD worked with me to find a suitable different time. Fingers crossed you get the same outcome.

I’ve had these emails and worked with applicants to figure out a way forward. I can very much appreciate the dilemma and will do what I can to help. I think most TDs will do the same. Good luck rescheduling!

I am no longer at Seattle VA (Puget Sound) but remain close with several trainees and staff of varying levels of seniority who are and am relaying a consistent sentiment shared among us: please consider why, unlike former years, the Seattle VA is not holding a postdoc Q&A and also why postdoc bios are not being provided in the manual (also inconsistent with prior years). Seattle VA places proud emphasis on its tendency to retain interns for fellowship, meaning many of the current fellows were also interns. Relatedly, I urge you to be wary if the training director asks you to go through him in order to speak to postdocs (as opposed to giving you a comprehensive list of postdocs from the last several years, as has been the case historically). If you are able to get access to unvetted fellows, I encourage you to ask them about how accurately available internship rotations and fellowships, as well as the program in general, are currently being represented.

Do you mind me asking who reached out to schedule your CVA? Was it one of your sites, your closest BOP location, or your BOP psychologist "rep" (I guess that's the best way to put it)? I feel like there's too many people involved, I never know who to expect to hear from

It wasn’t anyone from a site I applied to or the closest site to me. It was more of a rep/psychologist to locate and coordinate a site to do the CVA at. If you want more details message me! There are so many people involved and so many steps. I applied to 6 BOP sites and have been trying to keep up.
