hey guys, so this is kind of a social thread, but i figured none of my friends really know what to say, since I'm applying broadly in the Midwest. I'm looking for advice on who to root for since football is starting up this weekend.

so I've been a Michigan fan for a while, but they're not giving my app the light of day, despite good stats although I'm oos. I'm applying instate to osu, and have an interview with them coming up. but I'd feel weird, since I've been a Michigan fan since i started watching football.

complicating matters is the fact that my dream school, Wisconsin, has said they're not even looking at my application until after the weekend. i applied to Minnesota, interviewed and loved the place. I'm waiting to be complete at iowa.

so. any thoughts?

and since most of us have more than one allegiance for schools, lets see who people are pulling for this fall!

I went to MSU-CHM but my wife and I met during undergrad at U of M. We are such big fans that our dog's name is GoBlue. (Sorry they are not showing you any love) When in doubt, always Go Blue. 😀

Randomly becoming a fan of a team for no particular reason is the first sign of a bandwagon/fake sports 'fan.'

I'm sticking with my undergrad and grad school - University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'em!
