Applicant numbers over the last five years or so

Can anyone tell me where I might find data on the trends for applicant numbers for U.S. MD porgrams over the last 5 years or more?

Has the number of applicants been steady, rising, or falling?

This would include re-applicants, so would be the total number of applicants each year.

Thanks!
