Does anyone know how many people applied this year? How many seats are there? Sources?

about 5000 seats available source...professor at boston.... consider this there are 50 something scholls which each have 75-115 students.....multiply the avg by 50 and u get about 5000

I have heard 4500-5000 seats for approx 11,000 applicants.

well I heard that UF had 1,800 applications for the ENTIRE last cycle and in late July of this years cycle they already had that many

I have heard from two adcoms that they both expected 16000 applicants, that seems high now though. Who knows?

Ive heard from one or two admissions directors that they expect around 13k ish... 16k would sound right if you dont account for the fact that a lot of people applied earlier this year so the initial numbers were really high, but I think its going to start leveling off. Then again, who knows
