Hey All,
I am currently a post-bac student at UPenn. Just finished the program and was due to link to Jefferson Med; however, I got an 8 on verbal and thus didn't meet the MCAT requirement needed to matriculate in August.
So, I am now in the regular applicant pool for 2010, and although Jefferson told me I'd get a favorable look for 2010 I am certainly going to apply elsewhere.
I am studying for the July 30 MCAT and I expect to do better this time around (I only got a 26 on my April exam).
Anyways, the crux of my question is this: Should I apply now (with a pending MCAT score) or wait until late July? early or late August?
Let me know if you have any thoughts on what strategy I should go with, or if you have any insights as to whether schools prefer to have all MCAT scores present at the time they receive the application, etc.
Thanks in advance,
Rich
