Hey all, I am taking my DAT this month on the 15th, naturally I am very nervous. I am also planning on submitting my application between now and right after my DAT, if I do not like my score I receive, will I still be able to retake the DAT within the 3 months and still have a good standing with my application status?

You can still retake the DAT, but if you've already submitted before retaking, they will most likely get the original score first.

They will get the original score regardless. Submit now if you can, not in 3.5 months. If you do not like your score, you can update schools with your new scores after your retake. Even if you've been rejected already, some will reopen your file, especially if your scores go up significantly.
If you do not like your scores on the 15th, you're still going to submit, right? So it wouldn't make a difference. May as well submit now if you're ready. The first batch doesn't get mailed out to schools until July anyway.
