So apps for 2016 have opened and I'm freaking out because I haven't submitted my app yet. I'm STILL writing my personal statement. Who knew it was going to be so hard.

Can someone read it and tell me if I'm going in the right direction? I'm only on the "first draft" stage and I feel like it's so bad right now. Its always been hard for me to put my thoughts on paper.... 🙁

It's still early!! I haven't submitted my application in yet either! I'd say as long as it's in by the end of the summer, we'll be fine.

The hardest part is always getting something down on paper...you still have plenty of time for revisions if necessary! PM me if you want me to take a look.

The earlier the better. As applications role in they will review them and start interviews and accepting students. My uncle has been practicing since 1993 and my cousin is going to start his second year soon. You're fine right now but if he were to tell you anything it would be not to wait until close to the deadline. I submitted mine yesterday even though they do not have my OAT score yet. Don't freak out about the application. To me, that's the easy part. Focus on the OAT and the interview if, and when, you get one! You'll do fine! Good luck! 🙂

What do you mean "they do not have my OAT score yet"? Do you have to submit that separately to OptomCAS or just send scores to each school?

OAT scores are sent to the schools by the testing center. Hence is why they do not have my scores. 🙂

I know SUNY applications are due March 1 but they do early admission cycles and start evaluating applications in mid-August so i have submitted my application

Usually March. But I know for sure Berkeley is December, and IAUPR is close to end of May
