Hi all,

I am extremely confused about the application process and I would really appreciate some clarifications.

I was wondering when schools consider an application complete? When you upload everything on AMCAS, and press submit--that is when AMCAS verifies your information correct? And the later in the cycle you are, the longer it takes...

After you have been verified, then only it goes to the schools?

I've also seen that some people submit their application without their MCAT score? Their file would still be verified without it but it wouldn't be considered complete by the school, correct?
The same goes for if you click the taking MCAT again button, your not considered complete until they get the second MCAT score?

Thanks in advance.

You are "Complete" when a school has every element it needs to decide it you'll be offered an interview: the Primary has been received, final MCAT score tranmitted, all LORs received, and the Secondary has been submitted (with photo, check, etc. if it was asked for).

But if your writing your MCAT again, would the school still send out their secondary to you?
