Hi Everyone!

Just wondering how many of you still have components of your application outstanding. Obviously, we're all without dean's letters, but I'm also without 2/3 of my letters of recommendation, both from pediatricians. I've gotten interview invites from 8 programs out of the 13 I applied to, which I'm super excited about, but I'm without invites from a few that people on this board have mentioned getting invited to, namely Denver Childrens and CHOP. I also don't have step 2 done, and don't plan on taking it til December. I was really hoping to interview at both of these programs...am I SOL?!

I'm still waiting on 2 LORs and my med school transcript. I also haven't gotten invites at several programs that others have been invited to. My transcript should be in by the end of the week, so hopefully that's what is holding me up (and I hope I haven't missed my chance to be invited at those programs).

My transcript finally went up Friday, which "completed" me. Quotation marks are indicative of the fact that my Dean's letter won't be available for another month or so.

twillburys, I too hope that that was holding me up and that I haven't missed the last boat to interview island!

Thanks for the replies! I'm still without my 2 letters, but it sounds like I'm in good company. I'm mainly worried about my lack of step 2.......the CHOP website says it's supposed to be in, but I was told by some of their current residents and prior applicants that they mean before residency starts. But, perhaps I was misinformed. I guess perhaps I should kiss that one goodbye.... 🙂
