Application completed on 9/30 (3.9GPA, 20 DAT), NO NYU interview

All of my application (DAT, Letters, SOP,,,etc..) was done at 9/30.
(EVERYthing was verifed by AADSAS)

My top choices are NYU, Buffalo and Columbia. around NY.

having 3.92 GPA & S-gpa3.93 and DAT; 20AA, 21SS, 20PAT.
(but RC is horrible,,16 🙁)

But none of those schools gave me an invitation yet.

Is this too late for pre-december interview

or my stat is too bad for that ?

Please give me any advice, honorable veterans ! 👍

your stats are fine. you applied WAY WAY too late. Most schools are booked up till Jan.

You will definitely receive some interviews but not before Dec 1st.

It have been about a month. Schools should start receiving your stuff within 4-6 weeks once submitted.

You are not late! My stuff was done 2 days b4 yours! And I received 5 out of 6 interviews. So just hang in there and I wish you the best of luck 🙂

are you a minority? I can't imagine so many schools haveing such a fast turn around. Your DAT scores are slightly better than average.... you must have either a 4.0 or some crazy extracurriculars...

I think that the poster submitted everything else much earlier (the main app) and was just finished sending EVERYTHING in on sept 28, no way that someone submitted sept 28 and everything got verified, sent to schools, reviewed and everything in time for an oct interview. I'm guessing the schools were waiting for something (like a letter or a DAT score). Being a minority would have no bearing on turnaround time, that's up to AADSAS mostly.

it is probably because your gpa is a little on the low side. maybe you should take some grade boosters or do a masters

I can't speak about the other schools, but I think you are fine as far as NYU is concerned. I was feeling the same way about them until I received an interview invite. My DAT was taken Sept. 3rd and my application fee was sent in around June. My application was sent to them in June and my official DAT scores were received in mid September. I have similar stats as you and I only heard from them 2 days ago. When I scheduled my interview, they still had spots available from Nov 11th - 25th. Good luck! I'm sure you are fine.

hi i took dats sept 15th ( similar RC 🙂)
anyway schools just received my stuff 2-3 weeks ago and NYU received it about 2 weeks ago. I think that they have everything and just didn't get to your application. On a side note i would love to interview at NYU🙂 so i am waiting to get an invite!

I actually got the application complete e-mail on 10/14 (although everything was in by September) and I received an interview last Friday.

Stop worrying, you'll get plenty of Post Dec. 1st interviews and get in somewhere for sure.

I submitted in May end and file completed in June end. But i received NYU interview just now. and idk why??
