Please don't take TPR. Take Kaplan.

I don't know how the new computerized MCAT is going to change things. But apply early means have everything into AMCAS as soon as possible - ideally hitting the send button on June 1 (or shortly thereafter) with all your transcripts, scores, etc. in place. Last year there was a bottleneck starting the day after the MCAT scores for April were released that pushed the verification from AMCAS back from just a few days to weeks and weeks. This may no longer happen since the MCAT can be taken more frequently. But as long as everything is in arond June, you should be fine.

Applying early does not have to mean the very day that AMCAS first lets you submit. But I would say within a month of that is considered early. I submitted june 20th, and consider that pretty early. But even at that point there was quite a wait for getting the amcas verifiied. Its all relative, earlier the better. But also keep in mind that it is just as important to turn around those secondaries quickly as well. And don't forget to make sure all of your letters of rec. are lined up and ready to go out. Good luck!!:luck:
