For context, I submitted my primary application on the very first day it was able to be submitted, and I got secondaries from about 30 schools. Following this, I narrowed down my list to 20 schools to write secondaries for, as it seemed like a safe enough amount. I made sure to submit my secondaries in a timely manner, most of the time within the same week of receiving a secondary invite, but oftentimes the same or next day. Obviously I had pre-written for a lot of these secondaries, and I was confident that what I was submitting was high quality, and not just a rushed submission. However, it is now almost January and I have received two interview invites, one of which I received a rejection from. The part that bothers me is that I have heard absolutely nothing from over half of the schools I have submitted to. From what I've gathered from other online forums is that I should probably be worried at this point, however I don't think I've seen such an extensive ghosting talked about elsewhere, especially considering how early I submitted to each school. I am posting to see what other people's thoughts are on this situation, and if I should just start preparing to reapply, or if I should stick it out and see what happens. I would also love to hear if anyone else has experienced anything similar this cycle or in past cycles. Thanks
