I know humans make mistakes, heck I made a huge mistake yesterday that I am not going to mention because it is really embarassing. However, when schools tell you to be patient and not call their office because they are flooded with apps, you think they would take care in their job. A school I applied to about 1 1/2 months ago says on their status page "no" letters not received. Underneath it, they claim that volume of applicants may be large and they may in fact have letters but it may not show up on status page. Ok, so the school is Albany lol. I called last month to make sure they had my letters and they were just flooded. The lady assured me that they had my letters and I was complete, it just wasn't reflected on the status page. Well I called today, and they have my letter packet, but one letter is missing. How does that happen? Everything was sent from my school through VE. A month ago I was complete, now a letter is missing and since I listed it on my secondary they have to wait for it, even though they have 2 other science letters they could look at. I am so furious. This is yet another school I can just scratch off my list. I'm not even complete and it's dec, my chances are gone. However, the lady was helpful and nice. I'm just depressed. It seems I have no news or bad news from medical schools. Also, my stupid mistake I made cost me 580 dollars. It involves my car too. I'm just in bum city right now and bad news is not what I need.
