application received!

luckily, NOVA's supplemental app is short (unless you're a reapplicant to the school, in which case you have to answer 2 questions)

Creighton yesterday
I applied to Creighton and haven't received anything? Had you already submitted the supplemental info as well?

Don't worry, I haven't gotten anything either, and I sent in my supplemental the second week of June. They're receiving a ton of applications all at once.
yep got nova as well
Yeah I just finished Nova's supplemental and it was way easier and shorter than I expected. I wasn't even aware that they had a DO/DMD program until I saw it in their supplemental. ...very interesting....
Now I just wish the supplementals from the other schools I applied to would be sent out. I just want them done with so I can (semi)enjoy my summer without anything hanging over my head!

Hey Guys! Can you help me out with this question from NOVA's supplemental : Describe any special circumstances that you feel might aid the admissions committeee in evaluating your application. This question is pretty vague, what kind of response are they looking for here? what are special circumstances? (like what?) Thanks in advance!!

I'm pretty sure they're asking for anything that is showing that you're overcoming hardship or something that puts you in a different situation than the average applicant. Like, if you had to work to support yourself (or your family) during college, if your considered disadvantaged for any reason, or maybe even a death in the family that may have affected your school performance. Basically, if you have something that isn't obviously stated from the rest of your application, here is your chance to explain it.

Do you think it's alright to not write anything for Creighton's question that states "Please state if there is anything of particular importance that the Admissions Committee should know about you." section? There isn't really anything that I can think of to write here that wasn't mentioned already in my application.I'm pretty sure they're asking for anything that is showing that you're overcoming hardship or something that puts you in a different situation than the average applicant. Anybody get any confirmation from Houston, San Antonio, Harvard, Penn, or Columbia?

Harvard doesn't review their applicants til august. I haven't heard anything from penn or columbia yet either... first batch

I had the same quetion for Nova's app. and I left it blank. The rest of my application has all the informationa about me and answering would just be restating... I wasn't sure if it'll do any harm by being so repetitive and that's why I left it blank.
Tufts today
Does anyone know if we should be able to see our statuses on AADSAS portal yet? It's my first time applying and in my UB application received e-mail it says to check AADSAS for updates, but my AADSAS is showing no updates in "school decisions" or "supplemental" sections.
