Hi everyone,
We all know about the spreadsheet that @limeyguydr has in his sig detailing applied/interviewed/accepted stats for both SI and OOS for MD schools. Is there something similar for DO schools? I am super curious, and I have a DO interview coming up and am trying not to get my hopes too high about getting in ,haha.

Anyone? Or maybe if people know the stats for individual schools- mine is at NYITCOM-OW.

The general rule I have heard is if you get an interview your stats are acceptable. Now they just want to see you have social skills and will be an effective physician, just try to be yourself and kill your interview!

Well there's no one document for that but this gives you the number applicants for each schools:

This gives you a matriculant summary by state and by COM:

This thread has average MCAT and GPA for each COM using an algorithm on the ChooseDO website:

ATSU-KCOM has these MCAT avg for each COM on their website:

There's no place to find how many applicants they interview, but I know my school interview about 600-800 for a class of 150. Also, number of interviewees changes from year to year because it's up to the schools to decide if they are going to be able to fill their class or not and when to stop interviewing applicants.

Thanks. One more question- you know how the MD interview season runs until March, so generally, you want to have an interview before the end of Jan, so that you are interviewing for an Acceptance and not a spot on the waitlist?
What is that same cutoff for DO? Goro says at his school it's March/April where they start getting picky. Is that universal? So for DO , is a Feb. interview still in the " green zone"? Or is Feb late for DO ( interviewing for a spot on the waitlist) like it is for MD?

This is totally school dependent. Most MD schools I know don't interview all the way through March (Usually they end their cycle January/February), and most DO school's interview cycle ends by March/April. I know several people in my class that have gotten accepted after interviewing in March. Albeit they are not the majority. I think interviewing at DO schools in January/February can still get you in more often than not though. That is if you interview well. With that said with your stats I don't think you need to worry. Your MCAT is higher than average at all DO schools and your GPA is not too far from average either. If DO Schools are at the point where they're getting picky, you're probably gonna be one of the first applicants on their list and that's assuming the rest of your app is Ok and you didn't apply super late.

Well, I have Jan interviews for both MD and DO right now ( 1 for MD 1 for DO). I know for MD Jan is cutting it close the the " interviewing for a spot on the WL" softdeadline, but I was just wondering about how I should feel about a Feb DO invite. It sounds like Feb should be fine, though, based on what you're saying ( and that DO schools don't get too picky until March/April). I think Feb. for most MD may be a little late.

Just attend and do your best. Don't be a weirdo, show up on time, and interact with everyone at your interview. And don't forget your interview begins the moment you set foot on campus (All eyes are on you for the whole day). Anything can happen. Also, schools didn't invite you for no reason. You got an interview because they think you're competitive for their school, and now it's up to you to impress them and get that acceptance.
