I have been reading up on both this forum and predents.com and I have noticed a large amount of pre-dentals who applied to 2,3, even 4 cycles before gaining acceptance anywhere. Just curious, is this the case with most people- who here had to apply more than once? What did you do for the year or so you had off?
Thanks!
Tori
Edit: On second look, I have noticed the trend that many of these people had low-end DAT scores/GPA, and that some of them were too picky or set their sights too high when applying to dental schools.
Thanks!
