what kind of cousrse i have to take in order to prepare for the pcat? i took the orgain chem 1 and 2 with labs, general chem 1 and 2 with labs, calculus 1 and 2, Molecular & Cellular Biology and Cellular and Organ Physiology, and i will take the antaomy and physicology in the next two semester, but those classes in only for people who not major in biology or other science, it is for people who study health science.how can i prepare the pcat? how can i apply for the pharmacy program at Long Island university? i am current at stony brook.by the way, can use the dental admission test to prepare for the pcat? thanks

The PCAT tests you over Ochem (generally ochem 1 though with some reactions from Ochem 2), lots of basic chemistry, lots of calculus, human physiology, and a very tiny small amount of microbiology and plants.

I'm not certain what is the exact distinction between A&P class for science majors and those in health sciences. We only have one human physiology and anatomy class at my university for everyone that major in science to take.

I would not use the dental admission test to prepare for the PCAT because they will be tested over different material and at different level of difficulty. Check with Long Island University about their policy on applying.
