  1. Podiatrist
I just wanted to get an idea of what I can expect to see if I apply to pod schools in January or February. My stats are fairly competitive (3.2s, 3.3c, 28 MCAT), but I don't know if some schools will fill up fast and my choices will be limited. Also, I was worried that scholarship money may run out by that time.

By the way, I'm applying fairly late because I am going to shadow two podiatrists in December to make sure this is what I want to do. I wouldn't like to have a gap year if at all possible...

Thanks!

You should be good for all the schools. Azpod has a class size of ~30, so that class may be full, but still worth a try if that's one of your top choices.

Good luck!

Competitive wise you are great and shouldnt have any problems getting in applying in jan. scholarship money is another issue.

Personally, I sent my application out after one session shadowing a pod bc I liked it and felt I could streamline the app process. I know it might to be tough spending all that money to send out your app after one session, but if you want to get as much scholarship money that might be your best bet.

This is all my opinion and I would like to see if anyone agrees or disagrees with it. Your stats are great tho!

based on location, oakland is my top choice, followed by NY (lived there before). I plan to research schools further, and I believe the interviews will influence my decisions too.

I think you have a pretty good chance to get into those schools with your stats.
