anyways, do what the previous posts said. do the surgery internship. there will be plenty of surgery internships to choose from. nobody wants surgery anymore.
one more thing...it's not always based on board scores and grades. sometimes, it's being in the right place at the right time. it's about networking with the right people.
go to the interviews that you have and do well. if i remember correctly, didn't nrmp post the odds of matching in your top x amount of programs? if i recall correctly, 60-70% match in #1. about 80% match in #1 or 2. 85% match within #1,2,3. and almost 90% match within the top 4 choices. so, if my memory is correct, you still have a chance to make it. good luck
