Was just wondering if anyone has done it. I know people sometimes apply to both PA and Med School, but never really heard of PT and Med School at the same time. I do know that the prerequisite classes overlap if you took all of the premed classes. Anyone?

Just pick one.

I knew someone who did med and dental last cycle. Only got into dental, so naturally began thinking what she really wanted was medicine and was stressing about dropping her spot.

If you don't know yet, don't apply yet.

I'm a senior who initially started with intentions of going to PT, but gravitated towards Medicine after doing several shadowing/internship programs. I'm currently finishing Med School prerequisites and the thought just came up. Thanks for the input

I get it, I had a similiar path myself.
My point is that this is a 30+ year decision, so waiting a year to make the best long term choice for you is the best decision imo. I did, will end up with at least 2 gap years, and would gladly take a couple more now I have confidence in my path forward. PM if you want specifics

If you apply to both you're gonna have to be very clear to your letter writers about what needs to go to which application service lol

I have always wondered too if someone applies to two different programs at the same school, will the programs be notified? I know at my school all grad applications go through the same office, but I have no idea if there is any cross checking.

If there is, I imagine it would kill someones chances.
