I am an international applicant. I marked all this down on AMCAS and secondary applications where applicable

This question has already been asked on this board, but some threads say one thing, while others say another. I would like to confirm what effect this has on applications?

Thanks

It's nice that med schools consider canadians from minority backgrounds URMs. I know they didn't for undergrad, but there definitely is a need for more doctors from diverse backgrounds.

Thanks for responding.

Do you know where I can read up more on this? AAMC’s website says URMs are those that share identities with medically underserved populations, and they mention that those populations include Latino groups. I could not find anything about Canadian minorities on their website.
Not all Latinos are URM. Language skills are always appreciated though.
