many of you on this forum have stressed the importance of applying early. Since I am taking the mcat this august, and it takes 2 months to get the results; should i just apply early and hope i get a decent score on the mcats or wait until i get my results?

apply early no matter what and just assume you'll do decent

apply EARLY. it takes time to transfer/verify your transcript. you should also give yourself time if something does not go right during your application process. again, apply EARLY and good luuck.

should be alright based on the following timeline:

sending transcript and amcas application -> mid june
arrival of your transcript -> july
taking mcat -> mid august
verification of your amcas application and transcript (6+ wks) -> sep
working on your sec. apps -> early sep to nov
mcat score available -> mid oct

you should be alright. good luck.

got it, thanks for all your advice!
