I am hoping to apply early decision this cycle, I'm wondering if I can still apply ED with a prerequisite (pre-calc) in progress for this fall?

Most allow prereqs to be outstanding as long as theyre completed by time of matriculation, depends on the school!

You should totally be fine! Some schools allow up to 3 prerequisites to be outstanding with a good plan of completion.
