what's the earliest you can apply to do schools through the application service? cause i'm planning to apply as early as possible. also, is there a big advantage on applying early (if your file/mcat scores are all done) to schools like LECOM_b and NOVA? Thanks

Also, i have another question. I am all into the DO philosophy. I think i share a lot of it mainly because i come from a small city-country in which primary care medicine is the main focus. How does applying to MD schools too affect your DO interview?

you're past applying early as possible, I believe the date was june 1st. It does not affect the DO interview because they do not know about it. It is your choice whether to reveal it.

You are definately past that initial applying early phase. Regardless of everything else, your chances are better if you apply early. This is for all schools. I honestly don't think it is more or less of an advantage at one school versus another.

That being said, last year NSU (I was told to not call it NOVA) was one of the schools that did a large amount of early interviews. I wasn't in the first group (maybe 3rd or 4th week) when I interviewed toward the end of Sept.

Oops. I've already gotten secondaries from the schools I applied to and finished two of them. :meanie:
