When someone says "apply early" does that mean apply within 1-2 months or does is mean within 1-2 weeks after the application is made available?

I was just wondering because I'll be applying within 1-2 weeks due to unforseen circumstances and I am afraid that my chances of getting into any optometry school may be reduced.

Thanks

Apply early = the first day application is available!!! That's just me though because I'm a "go-getter" kind of person. But I think 1-2 weeks is still very reasonable. But just remember, the later you apply, the less available seats for the class!

Good luck!

I am also a little bit worried about how everyone is saying to apply within 1 to 2 weeks of when rolling admissions start. I wasn't going to send in my apps until Dec because I really really really want my grades for the fall on my transcript that gets sent to the schools, and I also am waiting for my university to retroactively withdraw me from some glasses from a couple of years ago. So the earliest I can apply is Dec. Will this seriously hurt my chances? As in, will I pretty much be wasting my time by applying then? I will make it before the priority deadline for both the schools that I'm applying to....😕
