I'm trying to get a job as a pharmacist technician but I'm not sure what is the best way to go about it.

For CVS, and Rite Aid, is it better to apply in store or online?
Also do you ask for the manager or the pharmacy manager?

CVS: online. You will need to upload a resume and cover letter. Just fill it up with things you put on PharmCAS. The hiring process/wait time is all location-dependent. They will usually give you a call back within weeks, maybe days if you are lucky. The nice thing about this company: they will pay for your training/certification exam, starting pay is $9ish/hour. The cons: it is not a secret that too many people tap out and quit pretty quickly. Perhaps @Aznfarmerboi can give you more valuable information on the tech-hiring process.

I believe Walgreens' hiring process is similar to CVS, but someone else can give you better info. Perhaps @type b pharmD can weigh in.

Rite-Aid ... not too sure, someone else can chime in here.

Best thing to do is apply online, then go in store and ask to speak to the RXM and leave your resume. They can get up to hundreds of online applications, but putting a face with a resume helps a lot when it comes to choosing someone for an interview. I did this when I applied to Walgreens and was hired in less than a week from when I applied.
