I'm a senior in college, planning to apply for post-bacs in the next month. Do most people in my situation apply through their pre-health advising office or just send the materials themselves? I can't figure out whether there's some benefit to having the advising office send my materials over (they're not writing me a letter) - and I assume it will delay my application.

What do you think?

Just apply yourself, it will definitely give you more peace of mind. I don't see any benefit to using your pre-health office since postbacs usually only required LORs and not a committee letter. Though it won't hurt to be in touch with the pre-heatlh office from time to time as they may be helpful to you when you're ready to apply to med schools. (I needed to get a letter of good standing from my undergrad despite having a solid committee letter from postbac).
