Hi there,
You can do this but it becomes expensive. You are going to have to write a person statement for every specialty that you apply to. In the end, when you fill out your rank list, you still have to choose the one that intersts you most. A better alternative would be to do a transitional year in medicine if medical specialties interst you and get back into the match after you have some experience or do a surgery prelim year. If you do a good job with either of the above, you will acquire some solid medical knowledge and skills plus you will get great letters for application next year.
