Hello! I am applying this cycle and will be moving to Uganda in August, meaning that I will have to travel back to complete all of my interviews. My job is super flexible, knows I am applying to medical school and has given me 3 weeks off between September and January to travel home (plus two weeks around Christmas and New Years).
On my secondaries, I would like to include some dates I am planning on traveling home (is this kosher? I'm not sure) and was wondering when would be the best times for me to come home? (Three week chunk from the last week of September into the first two weeks in October? Two separate trips, one week in mid September and two weeks late October early November? The three weeks before my holiday vacation?)
Or should I leave it vague and see how it plays out, knowing that I might have to ask schools to change their offered interview date or miss offered interviews if all the dates do not match up?
