Is there anyone who applied like in mid-november and still got in dental school?

That's the boat that I will be in as I am about to fill out my application and have the schools send transcript (my stats 3.3 both overall/sci, AA 22/ TS 21/PAT 19). And as I browsed through all the threads here, it looks like you don't really have chance applying this late. And I am just losing hope, feeling down.

Is there anyone who's in the same boat as I am?

With your score you might still get in a school late, but you won't be picking which school you want to go to. If you apply early next year, with your scores and maybe a higher GPA by then, you'll have plenty of interviews and you can pick the school. I would wait in your situation, one year of waiting and options > no waiting and maybe getting in.

You are pretty late for this cycle. By the time your applications even get to schools, some schools would have filled most of their spots already. Your best chances are the schools that interview til late in the cycle, like NYU and USC etc.

I'd say save your money and get more dental experience/volunteer service/classes and have everything in before June for next cycle. You stats are average and it really is way way to late. Last year I applied in August and only had 1 interview post Dec 1st. and this year I had everything in before june and have 6 interviews so far. My Stats are average too: DAT 20/21/21 and CUM 3.1.

the above posts explain it pretty well, but it really depends on your personal timing. If getting into school this cycle is important to you, go for it, you still have a small chance to get in somewhere.
If, on the other hand, you have a preferred school and don't mind waiting until next year, wait on the application until January.
There's been a lot of posts about late applications and this is true for just about all of them.

I applied end of November last year and did receive an acceptance...however, like everyone is saying you will definitely be limited if you do get anything. My advice is wait and apply early...save your money.

If you have a top choice, just apply to that school, but don't expect too much. If you get in then GREAT...if not then it's not a big lost b/c it doesn't cost that much to apply to just one school...Just make sure you apply early next year if you don't get in this year. GOOD LUCK!
