I was wondering if there was anyone out there who could give me some council on how drastically an applicants chances of getting into a DDS program would be reduced when they have applied towards the end of the application cycle (most schools I am applying to have a rolling application cycle)?

More specifically, the Texas schools (sent in application July 11th and still processing through TMDSAS)

I might not be understanding the question here - if you sent your application in on June 11th you were incredibly early.
Texas schools use TMDSAS not the other central application website, with that being said, the TMDSAS application opens on May 1st of each year.

If you could not focus on the specifics of my case and answer the more broad question, that is, "How much impact does applying later in the application cycle have on your chances of getting in a program?"

Thank you

The attitude might be a bigger problem here.
Yea, my motives for this thread were to figure out how much of a disadvantage I would be in applying a little bit later than everyone else. I can assure you I have more important things to worry about than starting internet feuds on SDN forums. Hope you have a nice day haha

It's taking TMDSAS up to 30 days to process/verify the application once you submit it. You are very early...compared to the rest of the applicants. I saw some stats posted on the TMDSAS website. I think as long as you apply before 1 Aug you are not considered "late".
