I'm currently in my second gap year as I've needed time to gain experience and properly prepare for the MCAT. Obviously, I have the best chances at UK and UL. Should I broaden my DO list? See stats below.

1) cGPA: 3.6 (AMCAS and AACOMAS), sGPA: 3.36 (AMCAS) and 3.5 (AACOMAS); Upward trend Jr. and Sr. year (4.0 cGPA and sGPA). Lower GPA purely from Fr. and So. years.
2) MCAT Scores: 507 (127/123/127/130) ---> 513 (127/126/129/131)
3) State of Residency: Kentucky
4) Race: White male
5) Undergrad: George Washington Uni.
6) Clinical Experience: 155 hours as ED volunteer, 120 hours MD shadowing (ortho), 25 hours DO shadowing (neuro), 300+ hours in adolescent clinics/hospitals for research
7) Research: 1700+ hours (current) of clinical nutrition sciences research (4 co-authored papers expected by next summer, 1 first author poster presentation), 100 hours genetic medicine research (no pubs)
8) Shadowing: 120 hours MD shadowing (orthopedic surgery), 25 hours DO shadowing (peds neuro)
9) Non-clinical Volunteering: 110 hours with local non-profit helping the homeless, 250+ in community service as an Eagle Scout, 3 community service projects designed and led by myself.
10) Other EC's: Fraternity (founding father and health and wellness chair), Co-founder of pre-sports med. society (undergrad), 100 hours of tutoring, 75 hours as Peer Writing Preceptor for a prof., certified personal trainer
11) Awards/Certs: Eagle Scout, Certified personal trainer
12) Misc: Personal training has been my FT job since Jr. year of college b/c living in DC is expensive as hell. Over 3000 hours of one-on-one training with clients. Also am sitting on my senior capstone project which I am considering for revision and publication.

Does anyone know why there is such a stark difference in AAMC and AACOMAS GPAs, this is not the first time I see it?

AACOMAS gives more love to classes in health sciences. I graduated BS in Exercise Science.

You have a good list and should receive several interviews. Emory and Miami are reaches. OUHCOM and MSUCOM accept few non residents.

Understood. Thank you. I have to admit, I'm rather concerned about the lower GPAs.

Your GPA is not at all low. Stop being neurotic. You're gonna be fine. Unless there's a red flag somewhere.

Also I would add KCU, NYITCOM-NY, RVU-CO and MUCOM to your list.
