I am currently applying for some schools but I am not sure why some of these schools require a resume to be uploaded into the supplementary app. I am not trying to get a job I am trying to get into Pharm School...

and I am not sure what type of resume they are seeking. Employment? or one that merely highlights academic achievements and objectives??

very confusing

Just a general CV. they want to see any pharmacy related or relevant work experience, ECs, honors -- just a detailed list of what you actually did... similar to what we did on pharmcas. For the most part I just copy / paste my CV for pharmcas.

A resume is just a way to make your application more personalized. You put stuff on there that doesn't fit into a PharmCAS category and you highlight your extra-curricular activities and leadership skills.

Things like being CPR/First Aid certified, having a certificate in something unique, and passing a safety class that was work related don't really have a spot on PharmCAS. Just go into detail about your work experience, your academic history, and your activities and make sure to add in all of the unusual or unique things that make you stand out.
