Should we approach applying to DPT programs like undergrad? Do a couple reach, mostly targets, and a couple safety schools? I'm not really sure how well the US News rankings translates to how hard it is to get in like undergrad. For example WashU is ranked #1 so would that be a reach school for most people?
 
US News rankings do not correlate with how hard it is to get itno. WashU (and other "top" private schools) will be easier to get into than any state school. Schools should post their admissions stats- base how likely you are to get into based on how your stats line up.
