Applying this cycle/do I need a masters?

Hey everyone

I am going to be applying this cycle and wanted some advice. I graduated with a Business degree and a gpa of 3.2. I went back and did a DIY post bacc and so far have a 3.92 with 32 credits (still completing a couple upper level requirements). I am taking the DAT next week and have been averaging around 18/19 consistently and hoping to pick it up for the exam to a 20+.

That being said, what do you think my chances are as of right now? Is my post-bacc work good enough (for reference I now have a 3.4 overall gpa) or do you think dental schools will want me to get a masters. I have 200+ shadowing hours and around 80 volunteer hours.

Hey there, thanks for your response. I got a 22AA, 22 Bio, 22 Gc, 23OC, 22TS, 21RC, 20QR, 18PAT. I finished submitting my apps. Do you think schools will look past the 18 PAT. I have a 3.94 post bacc gpa with decent extracurricular. Thank you in advance!

My application has been verified and I have sent the unofficial scores to all the schools I’m applying to. I think it’s a waiting game to see when the scores are verified. Do you have any idea how long it takes for the scores to post?
I’m applying to 12 schools that are mostly larger, more expensive private schools.

it takes 2-3 weeks for official scores to be posted
some schools will consider you from your unofficial scores, so you did the right thing by submitting your preliminary scores
