Hi, I am trying to go to Texas(preferably Dallas or Houston) for med school even though I am out of state. My uncle lives in Dallas and my longtime SO is from Texas and moving back there. I have a 3.7 and 509 MCAT with solid ecs, are there any Texas schools I would have a chance at?

You could try TCU, but you should fit their mission. Which is hard to say without knowing what your ECs are. They are part of AMCAS. Your ties are likely not strong enough for the limited OOS spots at TMDAS schools.

OOS applicants to TMDSAS will attract more interest with an MCAT in the 515+ range.
Apply to TCU and TCOM (DO school) both in Ft. Worth. TCU is on the AMCAS app.
Houston area schools on TMDSAS app include McGovern, University of Houston, and SHSU (DO). Read up on them and see if you fit their mission/profile. Both U of H and SHSU are very new and have not yet graduated a class.
