will the chance of getting into a dental school increase if you apply for one particular school?

I don’t see how that can help at all. If you truly want to get into dental school I would suggest you diversify and apply to more schools.

As said before on these boards:
Applying to one school is a lot of work and money.
Applying to a few more schools doesn’t add much more work or money.

I agree, it is ridiculous to accept someone just because they apply to one school. Applying to MANY (more than 25 for example) will make your application looks bad, but applying to just one school will not doing any good either.

will the chance of getting into a dental school increase if you apply for one particular school? gpa 3.3+ & dat in 20's. has anyone around these stats done this before? thanks
Not a good idea at all. Don't count on this school being flattered by your allegiance, much less be aware of it. Even if your stats are better than their average, sometimes the person looking over your application isn't struck by anything and places you in the "hold" pile. For you, apply to >10.
