Hi all, I was hoping someone could provide me with informations on how to apply to Caribbean schools. Correct me if i am wrong, with most US med schools primary application is via AMCAS application system right? What about Caribbean schools, are the applications completed via their school specific "Apply to blahblah" on their website?

Yes. AMCAS is a centralized service for MD programs in the US. If you're interested in the Caribbean schools, they all have separate applications on their websites, along with different requirements and things for admission. You'll need to consult the individual sites for more info.

👍. Unless if you have already applied for at least two cycles in the US to a variety of MD and DO schools I would not consider it. If you want to read about the process, an sdn member (JonathanMD) keeps a blog. Read it. It's one of the best resources on life in the Caribbean.
