I am in the process of applying to GPR's and AEGD's in the USA and Canada. I would like any general information anyone would like to share with those of use who are in this process. Also, is there a place to find out the relative rankings of various programs? Does anyone know of programs that give a lot of prostho experience that they would recommend?

Thanks!

That is one of the difficulties when it comes to applying to post-grad programs, but especially GPR/AEGD programs where it feels like there are zillions of them. Most of the legwork in figuring out the program specs as well as their strengths and weaknesses must be done by the applicant.

Wow! Leg work is right!! Every program has things you want, and doesn't have other things you do want! Many of the websites are so incomplete! I guess the best thing to do is to contact current residents and ask them about their experience, but it takes a lot of time. So, to anyone reading this in your third year.... start looking at schools BEFORE fourth year!! Some applications are due as early as mid-September, which doesn't give much time to research!
