Hi all,
I was trying to write an essay for Mauquette admission so, I was reading their brochore. In the brochore, they mentioned many times that they were Catholic Jesuit institution. Being a Christian I am, is that going to be a problem getting accepted? What do you guys think?

Catholics are "Christians" too because we believe in Christ. The distinction is between Catholic vs Protestant...not Catholic vs Christian.

lol....uh, i thought Catholics were Muslims 😎

What a funny essay that could have been

Hey, Marquette says that optimum consideration will be given to those whose file is complete by September 1. Then they say that interviews will be given in October and November. Does this mean that if I don't have all my LORs soon, then there's no hope for me to get an interview??? If that's the case, should I not bother sending in the application fee??

Are you talking about Creighton University? I don't see anything on Marquette about what your talking about..

i think creighton is catholic too. religion doesn't matter though. there was a muslim girl in their brochUre.

I believe Marquette and Creighton are "sister" schools.

Doh! They are both Jesuit schools, out of 28 in the US along with Boston College, Gonzaga, Georgetown, the Loyolas, USF, Xavier...
Anyways, Jesuits (Society of Jesus) is a Christian religious order, second in membership only to the Franciscans.
