So I know that this application is going to be on the late side, but I am a junior and have decided after a month of undergrad that I am ready to try to apply to dental school. I am an undergrad at Pitt and am only applying to Pitt. I have my entire application completed and just need to get my letters of recommendation in. I am meeting with my professors this week and should have them all in by then. I also need to get my transcript sent in, but that's about it. Hopefully everything is submitted before Halloween. My DAT scores are:
PAT:25
AA:21
TS:22
Bio:23
Chem:22
Orgo:22
RC:19
QR:21
I have a 3.66 gpa and 3.44 science gpa. I have over 400 hours of shadowing, 75+ hrs community service, and have been conducting research on the ERCC1 gene for 3 semesters and expect to be published by the end of the year. I'm the Vice president of multiple clubs and am a bio TA.
Does anyone have any tips for applying late, or know of something that I might be missing? Also, what do my chances look like? Thanks so much for all of your help.
