Hi guys,

I'm planning on applying to LECOM's and PCOM's post-bac programs in January for Fall 2008. I'm also planning on applying to medical schools in June of next year for matriculation in 2009. I noticed that most interviews for osteopathic school are on the weekdays. And LECOM and PCOM have mandatory attendace policies. I don't know how strict these school are with their attendace policies and if they will excuse me if I am going for a medical school interview. Does anyone have any experience with this particular situation?

Thank you! 🙂

The whole point of these programs is to get people into medical school. They will let you miss if you have an interview.

buckeye girl...do you have any info about the PCOM program? i did a search but i just found some pretty old threads w/not much info. How good is the program? # of people who applied to med school/got accepted and the curriculum also if it on a semester or tri-semester schedule? ...btw if u (or anyone) want info on the LECOM-erie program i have a lot..my friend's actually in it right now. thanks!

PCOM and LECOM don't have a glide year? What type of programs are they? If they are 1 year programs, and you plan on applying before you finish with them, what is the point of taking it?
