Applying to Texas Schools

I lived in Texas from the age of 2-11. My family then moved to KS where I lived until I graduated HS and then moved out (so obviously that is my state of residence). Because I do have some tie to texas (I can put that I lived there majority of my life from birth to 18) Should I apply to the texas schools?! My stats are 3.2sgpa and 21 AA/TS
