as long as you finish ochem labs before graduation/matriculation. you specify on the amcas that you plan on taking ochem in the future.

To be completely cover yourself, fall is the latest you should take it. There are a few schools that require prereqs to be completed before January.

Agreed...you don't need to take orgo lab to apply, and it doesn't hinder your chances of being interviewed or accepted. It might help a little on the MCAT but not much.
