Does anyone know if I submit my application like May 16, when will they send it to dental schools, because Im planning to take the DAT a few days before they send my application so it all can go togther, in other words what is the last day to take DAT in June so all the file goes togther??

Regardless of whether AADSAS has your DAT scores or not, they will send it to schools after they verify your gpa. After you take your DAT, you send it to individual schools not to AADSAS.

and, even though they open the application in may so you can enter all your info, they do not start processing till the june 1st. i submitted my app late june and it was not processed and sent to schools until early august.

I submitted last year on May 18th and ordered transcripts sent that same day. My package was sent out to schools the last week of June. You could take your DAT anytime in June and it will get there not long after your app. Only some of the schools even start looking at the incoming apps anyways in the June/July timeframe. Many of the admissions folks are still processing the incoming D1 class.

i am not sure if submitting may 16th is a good idea. you should spend a few days double checking your application for grammar errors.

it is hard to say when the last day to take it in june would be. it all depends on how fast AADSAS will verify your transcripts and send out the application.

if you are really worried just take the DAT sometime in june when you are READY. i think you will be fine.

Submitting on the first day is fine so long as you prepared your application ahead of time and already went through with a fine-toothed comb. I believe the 2009 AADSAS guide is up if you want to get started on the questions.

For the last two years, AADSAS sent out the first batch of applications around June 30. Although you e-submit your application before June 30, it doesn't necessarily mean your application will be in the first mail-out. They seem to limit the number of applications sent out in each batch, but I don't know what that number is.
